We were having a bad rain storm here on LI that night. We tried to go there on the LAST night they were open! Could not make it in time. I remember sneaking out of John Bowne HS & even Campbell JH back in the old day (LOL aged myself) to walk over there for a burger. We miss the Palace Diner so much! Not on LI.but I grew up going there.
